About the role Digital Solutions is seeking a Sales Manager that will be part of the Plant Growth Team and report to the Plant Growth Manager in the Americas. This role is based at our DNV office in Houston (TX), presenting a dynamic hybrid schedule where employees will typically spend three (3) days per week working from either a DNV office or client location/site. Further details regarding role‑specific requirements will be shared during the interview process.
Responsibilities
Own the end‑to‑end sales process and the associated sales target.
Focus on new sales to existing customers and also hunting for new logos.
Investigate the market and establish a sales plan in order to achieve the sales target.
Lead the on‑the‑ground, customer‑facing activities within the territory, becoming the go‑to person for your clients.
Attend client meetings, conferences and lobby stakeholders as required to get the job done.
Increase the exposure and market knowledge of DNV Digital Solutions products from the Plant product portfolio.
Implement cross DNV BA sales strategies to provide a compelling value proposition to our clients.
Use the CRM system and register all leads and opportunities to make a good track record.
Develop long‑standing, resilient client relationships which lead to a win‑win scenario for both them and DNV.
Be an integral part of the wider commercial and Product Line teams; this is not a role for a lone wolf.

About You What is required
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Safety Engineering or QSHE or relevant field.
Minimum 3 years of working experience in Oil & Gas industry or engineering software sales.
Demonstratable track record in securing new clients, expanding the product market penetration to meet or exceed goals.
Proactively build and maintain strong relationships, both externally and internally.
Experience working in a multi‑cultural commercial environment.
Solution oriented with the ability to make qualified independent decisions and move forward.
Collaborative, both within immediate team and the wider business.
Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
Willingness and ability to travel to customer sites up to 50% of the time.
Must have current valid driver's license.

What is preferred
Working experience within plant integrity and risk industry sales.
Strong commercial sales experience within the technical software sector.
