Inside Sales Application Engineer
to join our team in Clackamas, OR.
This is a great opportunity to join our Municipal Market team where you’ll support customers by helping them select the right equipment, answer technical questions, manage quotes, follow up on leads, and build strong relationships with customers and dealers. You’ll also assist with product demos, support larger projects, and collaborate with your team.
Schedule:
Onsite Monday - Friday, 7am to 4pm
Salary:
$60,000 to $70,000
What You’ll Do:
Answer customer questions by phone and email about equipment selection and provide technical support
Help customers choose the right pump models using technical information (BOMs, curves, dimensions)
Prepare quotes and process sales orders
Follow up with leads and existing customers
Address technical and business questions or concerns
Provide product demonstrations when needed
Support and manage larger projects
Build strong relationships with dealers, customers, and coworkers
Represent the company at dealer events, trade shows, and customer visits (some travel required)
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field
1–2 years of inside sales or related experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Mechanical aptitude
Strong communication and customer service skills
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of industrial pump applications is a plus
What We Offer:
PTO & Holidays:
Minimum of 2 weeks paid PTO + 10 paid holidays.
401(k):
Up to 7.5% (3% employer contribution and up to another 4.5% employer matching) based on your contribution thereafter: immediate full vesting
Medical:

Parental Leave:
2 weeks paid.
