Content Marketing Lead (Founding) - AUS/US/CAN/NZ
Traild, Nevada, IA, United States
Traild: Who are we?
Traild is a high‑growth SaaS company transforming how finance teams manage Accounts Payable, automating and protecting the entire process from invoice capture through approval and payment. The company seeks to solve billions of dollars in payment errors and fraud without slowing businesses down.
The Role: Build Traild’s Global Content Engine This is not a “manage the content calendar” role. You will build and own Traild’s global content engine from scratch—defining how we show up in market, generate demand, educate buyers, and support revenue. You’ll operate at the intersection of strategy and execution, creativity, and AI scale.
Key Responsibilities
Build the content engine
Define and execute a content strategy that drives pipeline (content pillars, audience segmentation, distribution strategies)
Identify high‑leverage bets across SEO, AI search (AEO), social, and campaigns
Create a system where great ideas scale to measurable impact
Create compelling content
Write and produce high‑quality, high‑conviction content (POVs, product narratives, customer stories, sales enablement)
Turn complex financial workflows into clear, compelling, differentiated stories
Set the quality bar for content and what “great” looks like at Traild (and create systems to enforce brand voice and editorial standards)
Scale with AI (without losing quality)
Build an AI‑powered content engine where you create the exceptional content and AI scales it across channels, formats, and markets
Experiment aggressively with AI tools and workflows while maintaining quality and brand voice
Drive demand, pipeline and revenue
Own content’s contribution to MQLs, pipeline, and deal acceleration
Develop campaigns that convert and support GTM efforts
Partner with product, sales, and customer teams to create content that wins deals
Build a challenger brand
Define Traild’s voice in the market
Create content that stands out in a sea of generic SaaS/ERP messaging
Develop bold, opinionated, insight‑driven narratives and campaigns
Push creative boundaries
Scale the function
Build processes, systems, and tooling to scale output
Leverage freelancers, agencies, cutting‑edge tools and build out a team
Who You Are
You are a builder—created something from scratch (content, brand, side project, business) and want to scale it further.
You are a strong writer and storyteller with high standards for quality.
You’re AI‑curious or AI‑native—excited about using AI to scale output but understand that quality starts with human insight.
You think in pipeline and impact, not just content output.
You’re hands‑on and fast—write, ship, test, and iterate constantly.
You’re comfortable with ambiguity and ownership.
You have strong opinions, are creative, and willing to challenge conventional SaaS marketing.
You’re likely in a role today where you feel under‑leveraged and want to step up and own something meaningful.
Experience in SaaS/fintech is helpful, but not essential. Drive, curiosity, and ownership matter more.
Strong collaborator with an attitude embracing growth, hands‑on execution, adaptability, and the scale‑up spirit.
Benefits
Flexibility: range of remote, hybrid, and flexible working options.
Global team: growing across APAC, NA, and EMEA with team worldwide.
Rocketship culture: exponential growth and engagement opportunities.
High workplace satisfaction: 82 on recent 2025 eNPS survey.
Please note that the final applicants for this job will be asked to consent in writing to a police check / criminal background check to the extent permitted by law in your jurisdiction of employment. Traild is an E‑Verify employer.
