Account Manager
Fujitec Canada, Inc, Carrollton, TX, United States
We are looking for a driven, customer-focused Sales Executive to grow and strengthen a portfolio of existing customer accounts, build a pipeline of repair and upgrade opportunities, and deliver long-term value through maintenance and modernization solutions.
This is a true trusted advisor role, not a traditional desk-based sales job. You will spend most of your time in the field building deep relationships with property managers, building engineers, owners, and asset managers while partnering closely with mechanics and operations teams. Your ability to develop capital plans, spot upgrade opportunities early, and deliver exceptional service will drive revenue growth and long-term customer loyalty.
You will be responsible for achieving repair, maintenance and modernization sales targets through strong management of existing customer relationships, expansion of your service portfolio, and development of new business. This position exercises significant discretion and independent judgment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Proactively manage and grow assigned service accounts by spending significant time in the field visiting customers, job sites, and machine rooms to build strong relationships at all levels, including owners, property managers, engineers, and mechanics. Conduct regular elevator assessments for all customers to help identify issues early and support long-term equipment planning. Develop and present comprehensive capital plans that address customers’ short- and long-term elevator needs, driving repair, upgrade and modernization opportunities. Exceed sales goals and quotas through disciplined use of company tools, with a focus on service growth, repair revenue, modernization, and cancellation reduction. Build and maintain deep relationships with key decision-makers and influencers across customer organizations and relevant industry associations. Prepare accurate repair proposals, service contract bids, and modernization estimates, including site surveys and close collaboration with operations and mechanics. Conduct regular portfolio analysis to identify expiring contracts, upcoming bid opportunities, and buildings coming off service. Lead Fujitec sales presentations, lunch-and-learns, and capital planning meetings with customers and consultants. Monitor contract performance, ensure exceptional customer satisfaction, and drive renewals while managing price increases where appropriate. Maintain strong internal partnerships with operations, service, and dispatch teams to support seamless execution and protect the customer experience. Maintain accurate records in company management tools, track pipeline activity, and assist with A/R collections when needed. Stay current on Fujitec products, industry trends, local elevator codes, and competitive offerings through training and self-study. WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE (First 12 Months)
Meet in person with all customers quarterly and with top ten accounts monthly. Consistently meet or exceed sales goals, with strong performance in repair, upgrade, and modernization revenue. Maintain strong account retention while growing new business through existing relationships and proactive account development. Become the go-to advisor for 15–25 key customer relationships by providing long-term solutions, capital planning support, and consistent recurring customer meetings. Be visibly active in the field and highly regarded by both customers and the internal operations team. DIRECT REPORTS
