Marketing Coordinator / Analyst / Manager - Freelance / Part-Time

Pantera Capital, San Francisco, CA, United States

Marketing Coordinator / Analyst / Manager - Freelance / Part-Time Position Overview QuitCarbon is seeking a part‑time marketing coordinator / analyst / manager to manage campaign execution and reporting for consumer marketing campaigns.

You’ll work autonomously across multiple small‑budget and short‑medium duration campaigns simultaneously (typically 1‑3 campaigns, 5‑figure budgets, and 6‑month timelines), executing marketing tactics across social, organic, events, direct mail, partnerships, and other channels while contributing creative ideas for improving tactics and content.

You’ll collaborate with our performance marketing contractor and internal team members.

You’ll be working remotely (unless you are near San Francisco) in a collaborative online environment with a team that values clear communication and continuous improvement. We use HubSpot, Slack, Linear, Notion, and Claude.

We’re looking for someone who shares our passion for climate tech and consumer empowerment.

Key Responsibilities

Execute marketing campaigns designed in collaboration with colleagues, managing multiple channels efficiently and effectively.

Contribute creative ideas for improving tactics and content.

Collect data and synthesize campaign results into professional client reports using standardized templates.

Use HubSpot and native marketing platform tools to gather the data you need for reporting.

Must Have

2+ years of experience in consumer marketing, ideally in home services, financial services, energy, or a related field.

Experience coordinating multiple simultaneous marketing campaigns.

Comfort working with HubSpot.

Native English fluency.

USA‑based (California preferred).

Ability to work flexibly as project volume fluctuates.

Effective collaboration skills - you know how to work with colleagues (remotely), when to seek outside resources, and when to shout “HELP!” - plus, you aren’t scared to say “I don’t know”.

A desire to constantly learn, grow, and (maybe) eventually become a more committed part of the QuitCarbon team.

Nice to Have

Marketing agency experience managing small‑budget consumer marketing campaigns.

Understanding of one or more of: residential electrical systems, electric appliances, heat pumps, solar, batteries, EV charging, clean energy upgrade principles, rebates and incentives, home upgrade financing, weatherization, energy efficiency programs, or similar.

Bilingual written and verbal skills.

Experience in high‑growth/early‑stage consumer tech start‑up.

Hours and Location ~4-8 hours/week - mostly during the normal work week.

100% Remote, unless you want to come to our San Francisco office (at Powell St BART on Market St).

Compensation This is an independent contractor role.

Compensation is $35‑55/hr, depending on experience.
