## Description**Jeff Wyler Springfield Auto Mall is "Now Hiring" an experienced Sales Manager!**Directs the sales activities of the dealership by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors.**Automotive Sales Manager - Essential Duties*** Hires, trains, motivates, counsels, and monitors the performance of all salespeople.* Direct sales staffing and training in ways that will enhance the development and control of sales programs.* Establishes annual and monthly objectives for unit sales, gross profits, expenses, and operating profit.* Monitors salesperson productivity and performance.* Orders/acquires new- and used-vehicle inventory.* Administers and monitors factory-sponsored programs.* Displays, merchandises, and promotes new- and used vehicles.* Reviews market analyses and sales reports to determine customer needs, and volume potential, and develops sales campaigns to accommodate the goals of the dealership.* Serves as liaison between sales department and other departments.* Analyzes and controls expenditures to conform to budgetary requirements.* Schedules and plans New Owner Clinics as a follow-up to the delivery process.* Maintains a professional appearance.* Attends manager's meetings as requested.* Other tasks as assigned.## Qualifications* Must have a strong background in automotive sales* 5 years minimum sales experience required* Steady work and performance history* Outgoing personality with expertise at developing relationships (i.e., a “people person")* Excellent appearance, verbal/written communication, strong negotiation, and presentation skills* Must be a strong closer and possess the ability to ask for the sale and follow through**Automotive Sales Manager - Education and/or Experience*** Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.* Four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. #J-18808-Ljbffr
