Job Summary Financial Account Analyst supporting our Federal Occupational Health (FOH) contract in Rockville, MD. The role includes basic accounts receivable, GAAP compliance, administrative review of Inter‑Agency Agreements, monitoring spend rate, handling rejected bills, coordinating resolutions, providing billing reports, responding to finance office and program managers, and partnering with operations, account executives and program managers for FOH services.

Essential Functions

Address funding issues with customers, secure project funding for the remainder of the fiscal year, provide reports, research and resolve billing issues, review per‑capitated agreements at month end, validate funds availability for all service areas, respond to customer inquiries, and assist account executives and operational leads in maintaining customer relationships.

Work with FOH program manager to review and recommend financial adjustments to customer proposed funding based on actual services requested.

Explain recommendations for financial adjustments to customer funding requests based on actual services.

Review customer funding proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with FOH policies, procedures and applicable regulations.

Responsible for reviewing and analyzing customer budgets to identify trends and anomalies in expenditures.

Routinely monitor customer spending to ensure appropriate draw down against billing charges for services.

Inform FOH program staff of status and availability of customer funds for services.

Communicate analysis results of customer accounts effectively.

Manage deobligation activities closeout of IAA, including research, validation, routing, and updating FOH system records.

Enter funding levels and revenue estimates for customers in FOH information system, resolve chargeback and credit card rejects, assist customers with status reports, and conduct charge quality assurance related to per‑capita calculations.

Assist in the preparation for customer meetings and prepare summary reports or other reports as needed.

Required Skills

One year experience in customer service in a health‑related field OR three years’ experience in customer account management service, including account receivable activity.

Intermediate Excel and basic Word skills; ability to learn new systems.

Effective independent and team member; excellent verbal and written communication, leadership, and organizational skills.

Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Required Experience Associate’s degree in a related field (e.g., Accounting) or Bachelor’s degree.
