The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Global Insights, the Director, Global Insights role requires strategic thinking and expertise to contribute to disease area strategy, life-cycle planning and product and portfolio decisions. The individual will conduct market research in various geographies to support the development and potential commercialization of the RevMed portfolio and will help shape asset strategy. The ideal candidate will have experience on oncology pipeline molecules across geographies, strong problem-solving skills, a strategic mindset, and comfort with ambiguity. This position would ideally be based at our headquarters in Redwood City, CA. Remote candidates who are willing to travel to the CA office regularly are also considered. Responsibilities

Work cross-functionally to develop and execute the global insights roadmap in support of current business needs and future opportunities across the portfolio of targeted oncology molecules. Translate insights into strategic recommendations to inform and influence global business decision making. Communicate strategic insights from market research to drive critical business decisions and strategy. Initiate and facilitate activities that enhance organizational knowledge regarding the market, potential product attributes, usage, market dynamics, and competition. Communicate and align key internal stakeholders around market research objectives and outputs, including qualifying results based on data strength and identifying limitations. Develop and present actionable recommendations to key stakeholders, focusing on findings and implications for each group and senior leadership. Research, analyze, and formulate insights on complex markets, disease states, competitive landscapes, and market and managed care dynamics. Synthesize and communicate similarities, differences, and considerations to inform global clinical development plans. Participate in cross-functional teams to gather input for functional activities and ensure alignment. Partner with other Insights and Analytics functions at the Global and Regional levels (Market Research, Data Analytics, Competitive Intelligence). Work closely with Global Commercial Development, Clinical Development, Portfolio Management, and Medical Affairs to support early-stage decision making. Maintain an in-depth understanding of Revolution Medicines’ product offerings, competitive positioning, and broader market dynamics. Reinforce market research best practices, identify sources, vendor options, and methodologies to address business needs; manage third parties as applicable. Serve as a resource to identify and track key business drivers. Required Skills, Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree required (MBA preferred) with 10+ years of progressive experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or strategic consulting role, including 6+ years in a strategic analytics role. Experience supporting pipeline and portfolio decision making. Extensive primary research and secondary analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable recommendations for business growth. Experience conducting and coordinating market research in regions outside the U.S. Collaborative team player, adaptable to a growing business. Strong problem-solving skills with experience leveraging various research and analytical vendors, study designs, and building quality vendor partnerships. Demonstrated ability to influence senior management and key business partners. Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize to deliver results within timelines. Ability to represent Revolution Medicines with internal and external stakeholders; strong verbal and written communication. Entrepreneurial mindset with tolerance for ambiguity and a passion for helping cancer patients. Preferred Skills

Experience with targeted oncolytics. Ability to synthesize complex information and influence decision-making at the executive level. Proven experience in a smaller, rapidly growing company. Compensation and Benefits

The base pay salary range for this full-time position onsite at our Redwood City, CA headquarters is listed below. The range is the base pay and will be adjusted for the local market. Base pay is one part of the total rewards program, which includes competitive cash compensation, equity awards, benefits, and learning opportunities.
