
Integration Director - Finance & Accounting

BMC is seeking to add an Integration Specialist to the Portfolio Consulting team.
As part of this team, the Accounting and Finance Integration Specialist will be responsible for aligning new acquisitions to BMC established standards, including but not limited to configuring accounting and related modules within ERP implementation, establishing SOPs, COA creation, opening balance sheet validation, risk assessment, tax reporting, and treasury management.
This role will oversee the execution of A&F professionalization within the broader Portfolio Consulting team which includes the HR Director, and IT Project Manager. The team supports newly acquired portfolio companies in all aspects of business startup for ultimate handover to the Portfolio Management team.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Lead financial and accounting integration of acquired company and post‑acquisition alignment and assist in building out accounting and finance teams
Plan and execute the integration or implementation of an ERP system
Work across IT, operations, HR and the executive team to align actions and goals within finance to the broader organization demands
Oversee portfolio company accounting teams through diligence and onboarding, ensuring compliance in all relevant areas and supporting development of industry and business appropriate accounting practices
Responsible for oversight of portfolio companies’ staff until permanent Controller or CFO positions are filled
Coordinate with executive team and Portfolio Management to assist in implementation of financial synergies
Work on special projects as assigned by the BMC Leadership Team
Perform other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS:
CMA or CPA
Minimum of 7‑10 years of Finance Leadership experience
Strong knowledge of ERP Systems and Data management
Proven ability to develop and implement finance policies and procedures
Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making capabilitiesExperience in change management and organizational development
WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is performed in a fast‑paced office setting, often with frequent interruptions. Duties may require sitting for long periods of time.
This position will be required to travel to portfolio company sites in various states and may need to drive a vehicle to some locations.
