The Senior Analyst - Mortgage Market Intelligence & Channel Pricing Analytics supports mortgage production channels by owning and transforming loan production, pricing, and vendor subscription data into actionable insights. This role is responsible for developing and maintaining robust data repositories, dashboards, reports, presentations, and business metrics that enable regular business reviews and informed decision making across mortgage production channels. Serving as a subject matter expert, the Senior Analyst will provide guidance on mortgage loan production trends, pricing dynamics, and third party data sources. The role delivers descriptive and predictive analytics, competitive and market share intelligence, pricing and optimization analytics, and ad hoc deep dive analyses to support strategic and tactical business objectives. Additionally, this position partners with cross functional teams—including Line of Business, Risk Management, Financial Management, Loan Fulfillment, and Servicing—to support key initiatives and special projects.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

Partner with senior business leaders to understand business strategy and work in cross-functional teams to drive successful strategic outcomes.

Lead analysis of business and user needs, requirements documentation, performance measurement, and the interpretation of results for both internal and external stakeholders.

Lead analysis effort to gather, formulate, define, and design solutions to the most complex business problems.

Analyze, design, and maintain data sources in information systems in support of projects, information needs, and changing requirements.

Measure client interaction in order to improve client experience, digital adoption, and marketing segmentation using various analytics tools (SAS, Adobe Analytics, R, Python, etc.).

Apply subject-matter expertise, industry knowledge, and technical understanding to recommend actions to business leaders.

Act as team leader for projects with moderate budgets or of short-to-intermediate duration.

Qualifications Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, or Information Technology-related field, or equivalent education and related training.

Five to ten years of experience in analysis and design.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Exceptional analytical and creative problem solving skills – ability to generate actionable insight and recommendations from complex analytics and large datasets.

Ability to work independently or as a member of a team.

Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office software products.

Ability to travel, occasionally overnight.

Proficiency in SQL, R, or Python.

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or Statistics.

Experience in mortgage and/or consumer lending (home equity preferred), with background in product development, product management, pricing, risk or financial management, capital markets, and/or product and portfolio analytics within a banking or financial services environment.

Advanced working knowledge of SAS, SQL, and Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel).

Other Job Requirements / Working Conditions Visual / Audio / Speaking Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.

Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.

Availability Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
