Salary: $185,000 - $225,000 per year A bit about us: A highly regarded, multi office intellectual property practice is seeking a Senior Patent Agent to support a sophisticated patent prosecution and portfolio development practice, offering direct client exposure, meaningful responsibility, and long term growth alongside experienced patent attorneys serving innovative companies across a range of industries. The role involves drafting and prosecuting U.S. and international patent applications across mechanical, electrical, software, and related technologies, preparing and responding to Office Actions before the USPTO, conducting patentability, freedom to operate, and prior art analyses, and collaborating directly with inventors, in house counsel, and business stakeholders. The Senior Patent Agent will also support global patent portfolio strategy and management, coordinate with foreign associates on international filings and prosecution matters, and assist with due diligence, opinion work, and related intellectual property counseling as needed. Job Details Registered Patent Agent in good standing with the USPTO 5+ years of patent prosecution experience in a law firm or in house environment Technical background in electrical engineering, computer science, mechanical engineering, or a closely related field Strong drafting skills with hands on experience managing patent matters from inception through allowance Experience working directly with inventors and internal legal or business teams Ability to handle matters independently while collaborating within a team based practice Interested in hearing more?
