Job Description
As a Financial Solutions Advisor Stage I (FSA I), your journey begins by obtaining Securities Industry licenses, where you receive dedicated and personalized classes for the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 exams. Once you obtain the licenses, you will be taught the foundational skills needed to be an advisor – from acquiring, building, and managing client relationships to considering a client’s complex financial picture and guiding them with advice and solutions to help them live their best financial lives, all while humanizing financial interactions. After reaching key milestones, you will begin working in a financial center where you will help deliver Bank of America’s core banking, investment solutions and approach to client care.
Responsibilities
Obtain the SIE, Series 7, and Series 66 licenses (or equivalent).
Develop foundational advisor skills, including acquiring, building, and managing client relationships.
Assess clients’ complex financial picture and recommend solutions to achieve financial goals.
Deliver client reviews and presentations with confidence, recommending strategies to help clients achieve their goals and priorities.
Collaborate with core banking and investment partners to connect clients to solutions from Bank of America and Merrill.
Regulate residential loan mortgage originations in compliance with SAFE Act registration requirements.
Work Schedule Monday – Friday, with occasional Saturdays required. Typical hours include 8 AM – 5 PM or 9 AM – 6 PM.
Required Qualifications
Proficiency in obtaining required industry licenses.
Self‑disciplined time‑management and capacity management.
Experience cultivating client relationships, assessing needs, and recommending solutions.
Strong peer‑relationship skills through effective communication and collaboration.
Results‑driven mindset with a client‑interest focus in a complex, fast‑paced environment.
Ability to execute multiple tasks simultaneously.
Comfort with learning and adapting to new technology or applications.
Desired Qualifications
Bilingual Mandarin – strongly desired.
Bachelor’s degree and/or at least one year of financial services industry or sales experience.
