Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Packer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products are accurately packed and prepared for shipment. This role is crucial in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our production process. The Packer will work closely with the production team to meet daily packing goals while adhering to safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities
Accurately pack products into boxes or containers according to specifications.
Inspect products for quality assurance before packing.
Label packages correctly to ensure proper identification during shipping.
Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
Assist in inventory management by tracking packed items and reporting discrepancies.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily packing quotas.
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing packing duties.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a packing or warehouse environment is a plus, but not mandatory.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
Good physical stamina, as the role may require standing for extended periods and lifting packages up to 50 pounds.
Basic math skills for counting and measuring products.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime if necessary.
