About The Role
This science‑driven skincare brand is scaling its brand presence across multiple consumer touchpoints and channels. The Art Director will play a key role in defining and elevating brand identity, shaping social and content strategy, and leading visual, narrative, and experiential creative that supports long‑term brand positioning. This role is based in New York City and works closely with cross‑functional marketing and creative partners.

Reporting To Chief Marketing Officer
Compensation and Benefits Pay ranges begins at $150,000 annually. The position may be eligible for PTO, health and dental insurance, and/or 401(k) benefits upon meeting certain length of service and hours requirements.
Core Responsibilities
Lead creative direction for photo and video shoots, including pre‑production creative briefs, on‑set direction, and post‑production timelines.
Serve as the primary point of contact for production logistics, including pre‑production project management, on‑site coordination, and post‑production delivery.
Establish and maintain visual and narrative standards for photography, video, and social media assets.
Collaborate with external production partners (photographers, videographers, stylists, editors, etc.) to ensure consistency with brand standards.
Conceptualize brand campaigns for product launches, seasonal initiatives, and cross‑channel storytelling.
Develop high‑level creative concepts, mood boards, and narrative frameworks for leadership review.
Partner with internal stakeholders to translate approved concepts into clear, actionable creative briefs.
Participate in weekly creative reviews and strategic planning meetings.
Provide cohesive, brand‑led creative guidance across marketing initiatives.
Deliver art direction for events, performance marketing collateral, and other brand initiatives.
