$22.50 - $25.00 per hour About the Role

As a Steve & Kate’s staff member, you’ll sharpen leadership skills, learn new ones, and collaborate with interesting people, while immersing yourself in creativity and play. Job Responsibilities

Facilitate activities, make connections, and monitor safety and wellness. Some staff will create and/or oversee activity spaces in which campers self-select activities; others will work in rotating support roles. Collaborate with the team to support a variety of activities (e.g., sewing, stop-motion animation, maker space, performing arts, arts and crafts, recreation, and more); specific responsibilities vary by role and location. Additional Responsibilities

Actively supervising campers Maintaining an organized and approachable activity space Ensuring compliance with Camp Policies Reporting and recording notable concerns, incidents, injuries to campers or staff Keeping track of camper allergies and dietary restrictions Providing daily updates and photos to campers\' profiles How to Tell If You’re a Good Fit

Enjoy guiding kids as they make decisions for themselves Stay calm under pressure and help others stay calm Are comfortable leading groups of kids on your own while collaborating with a team Have the stamina to keep up with energetic 4–12 year olds and can handle physical activity as needed Are passionate about sharing knowledge and learning from others Job Requirements

At least 18 years of age Minimum of 2 months experience working with camp-age children; 1 year preferred (professional, personal, or volunteer setting) First Aid & CPR certified prior to Day 1 of Camp (some locations may require additional certifications)
