About Us Join Robert Elizalde State Farm, an independent insurance agency dedicated to helping clients protect what matters most. We are seeking a motivated Insurance Agent Team Member to support our growth by delivering outstanding customer service and value‑based insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
Provide prompt, friendly, and accurate customer service regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverage, policy changes, claims, and billing.
Use a customer‑focused, needs‑based approach to educate clients on insurance products.
Collaborate with the agent to meet marketing and sales goals.
Develop leads, schedule appointments, and market suitable products and services.
Build business referral relationships and prospect new sales opportunities.
Provide timely reports and stay current on product and licensing updates.
Requirements
Property & Casualty license, Life & Health license obtainable.
Proven track record of meeting sales goals preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Positive, self‑motivated, and team‑oriented.
Comfortable presenting to customers.
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Willingness to learn and be coachable.
Interest in marketing products and services based on customer needs.
Enthusiastic about the role insurance and financial products play in helping people manage the risks of everyday life, recover from the unexpected, and realize their dreams.
Proactive in problem solving.
Pride in getting work done accurately and timely.
Ability to effectively relate to a customer.
Computer skills (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
Typing speed (like 40‑60 WPM).
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Compensation Compensación: $41,600.00 - $80,000.00 per year
Note: This position is with a State Farm independent contractor agent, not with State Farm Insurance Companies. Employees of State Farm agents must be able to successfully complete any applicable licensing requirements and training programs.
