
Seasonal Packaging Operator

What You'll Do:
Follow all Safety Life Critical Policies
Wear all required PPE
Participate in inventory control activities of packaging materials and products
Ensure equipment and machinery are operating properly and at production standards
Understand and complete operator preventative maintenance
Conduct machine set-up/change overs and start-ups
Limit waste - including raw material, finished goods, rework, parts, chemicals, supplies, and downtime
Demonstrate a sense of urgency when production lines are not producing, while ensuring safety and quality are not jeopardized
Ensure the proper use of machines and equipment to prevent accidents and damage
Understand and follow all Safety Policies and Procedures
Maintain a clean and safe work area
Monitor quality throughout the process
Ensure bottles are free of spills, and are filled to the correct weight and level
Other duties as assigned
What You'll Bring:
High School Diploma or equivalent required; experience in lieu of education may be considered
Manufacturing/packaging experience is preferred but not required
Strong Safety focus and able to identify and mitigate workplace hazards
Ability to work in a Safety-First manufacturing facility required
Ability to work in a sustained fast-paced manufacturing environment
Experience or ability to obtain forklift certification
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
Able to stand and/or be on your feet up to 9 hours per day
