VillageCareMAX is looking for a motivated individual for this Full-Time role as the Intake Representative. This position is responsible for receiving external referrals, making screening calls with potential members and scheduling initial assessments with enrollment nurses. The Intake Representative will play an integral role in assisting and maintaining the Business Development Manager's relationships with all referral sources.
Responsibilities
Answer incoming calls from prospective clients and referral sources
Answer client inquiries
Promote company products
Verify demographic information
Verify Medicaid and Medicare eligibility
Data entry of referrals and inquiries
Schedule nursing visits
Provide support to external and internal referral sources
Provide a detailed level of explanation for plan benefits
Provide comparison between all lines of business and advise the potential member of what plan may be most beneficial to their needs
Perform other job related duties as may be required or directed by supervisor
Qualifications We would like to speak to those who have
3+ years job related experience. Associate's degree required.
Excellent communication skills, organizational skills and problem solving will be vital to this position.
Bilingual skills required.
Must reside within the New York Tri-State Area - NY, NJ, or CT.
