Job Title

This is a full-time (40-50 hours per week) position. This is a hybrid position with the office located in Spring, Texas (Houston, TX metro area). Job Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Theology, Biblical Studies, English, Communications, or related field required; Master's degree preferred 23 years of professional writing or editorial experience, preferably within Christian publishing, education, or ministry Demonstrated ability to write with theological accuracy, biblical faithfulness, and gospel-centered clarity in an accessible way Strong knowledge of systematic and biblical theology, hermeneutics, and covenantal theology Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to balance multiple projects and deadlines Understand how AI ethically integrates into your position Alignment with TDGC's mission, doctrinal statement, and core values Job Responsibilities

Content Development Write and develop proposals, outlines, and manuscripts for Bible studies, books, devotionals, and related resources in alignment with TDGC's publishing strategy. Implement TDGC brand voice guidelines and Clowney's interpretive principles to create engaging, Christ-centered content. Cross-Department Collaboration Partner with the Editorial Director, editors, and strategy team during project planning, proposal review, and developmental editing. Incorporate feedback and revisions from editors to strengthen clarity, theology, and reader engagement. Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure written content aligns with design direction and marketing positioning. Editorial Process Adherence Produce a minimum of 250,000 publishable words per year, ensuring consistent productivity and alignment with TDGC's publishing schedule. Meet all editorial deadlines and follow the structured publishing process, including incremental draft submissions and revisions. Maintain project documentation in ClickUp and follow SOPs for cross-departmental collaboration. Professional & Theological Growth Participate in regular theological training, writing workshops, and peer reviews to improve writing craft and theological depth. Stay informed about current theological discussions and cultural issues impacting Christian women ages 1845. Engage with diverse voices within orthodox Christianity to sharpen theological and editorial insight. Other duties as assigned Benefits
