Multimedia Design Principal Job at Saic in Reston

Description SAIC is looking for an experienced Principal Graphic Designer to support proposals as an integral part of the proposal production team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with all members of a proposal team to develop high‑impact proposal graphics and images that convey technical concepts and information to satisfy RFP requirements. The role involves working closely with fellow proposal production team members to better understand SAIC procedures, maintaining the art repository, and may require extended work hours to meet production deadlines. This is a hybrid role with the ability to come into our Reston office as needed. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens.

Qualifications

Demonstrated knowledge and expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, with concentration in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe In‑Design

Experience with AAS/FEDSIM oral submissions

Bachelor's degree and 10 years of experience; 4 additional years will be used in lieu of a degree

Experience with government proposal development and processes

Experience reading and analyzing requests for proposals

Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision

Strong organizational skills

Good written and verbal skills, along with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.), Visio, and Acrobat X Pro

SharePoint proficiency

Mentoring skills
