Responsibilities
Coordinate and track leave of absence requests and reporting
Support the onboarding process, including new hire paperwork and background checks
Maintain confidential personnel files in compliance with regulations
Conduct audits of personnel, payroll, and benefits records
Complete employment and wage verifications
Assist with benefits administration, employee inquiries, and orientations
Serve as a liaison between employees, HR, and benefit vendors
Help communicate benefit programs, including PTO and eligibility details
Support HR reporting, file management, and administrative tasks
Assist with training, development initiatives, and HR program implementation
Maintain HRIS records and generate reports as needed
Train as a backup resource across key HR functions
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree OR 2+ years of HR or related experience (or equivalent combination)
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
High level of confidentiality and professionalism
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HR systems
Knowledge of HR practices, benefits, and employment processes preferred
Salary $55,000 - $60,000 per year
