
Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer

Duties
Perform vascular ultrasound and echocardiography, including Adult Echo, Contrast Echo, and Stress Echocardiogram (Treadmill).
Assist with precepting clinicians.
Provide high-quality patient care across various age groups, including neonates, adolescents, infants, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
Participate in on-call duties from 5pm to 8am Monday through Friday, and 24 hours on Saturday and Sunday.
Adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols.
Skills
Proficiency in general ultrasound, including abdominal aorta, appendix, biliary tract, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, pediatric abdomen/pelvis, spleen, and neonatal procedures.
Experience with ultrasound-guided biopsy/fine needle aspiration and paracentesis.
Familiarity with equipment such as GE and PACS.
Capability to perform OB/GYN procedures, including first, second, and third trimester scans, amniotic fluid index, fetal anatomical survey, and placenta previa.
Competence in vascular procedures, including aorta, carotid, color flow, doppler studies, duplex, and extremity arterial and venous scans.
Experience
Minimum of 1 year of experience in a related field.
Certifications required: ARDMS, ARDMS RVT, BLS, CCI, or RDCS.
Experience with the Epic charting system is required.
Travel experience is not required.
Previous charge experience, teaching hospital experience, community hospital experience, LTAC experience, and trauma level I or II experience are not specified.
