Job Summary The MRS is responsible for developing and executing enrollment strategies targeting active-duty military, veterans, National Guard, reservists, and military spouses. This role serves as the primary liaison between the university and the military community, guiding prospective students through the admissions process and connecting them with military-specific educational benefits.

Duties / Responsibilities

Recruit qualified military-affiliated applicants through outreach at military installations, veterans' organizations, online events, and virtual career fairs.

Build and maintain relationships with Education Services Officers (ESOs), Veterans Service Organizations (VSOs), Transition Assistance Program (TAP) coordinators, and other military education contacts.

Advise prospective students on military tuition assistance (TA), GI Bill benefits, MyCAA, and other funding options.

Guide applicants through the admissions process from inquiry to enrollment, meeting individual and team enrollment goals.

Maintain accurate records of all recruitment activity and student interactions in the CRM system.

Collaborate with financial aid, admissions, and academic advising teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

Stay current on Department of Defense (DoD) Memoranda of Understanding (MOU) requirements and VA compliance regulations.

Represent the university at military education fairs, base visits, and community events (virtual and in-person).

Develop outreach campaigns tailored to military audiences across digital platforms.

Required Skills / Abilities

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

1-3 years of experience in recruitment, admissions, sales, or a related field.

Familiarity with military culture, structure, and education benefits (GI Bill, TA, MyCAA, etc.).

Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Skills, Experience and Education

Military service or significant experience working with the military community.

Prior experience in higher education admissions or military recruitment.

Knowledge of VA compliance, DoD MOU requirements, and federal regulations governing military education.

Experience with virtual outreach tools and online event platforms.

Working Conditions

In person with occasional travel to military installations or recruitment events.

Must be available for flexible hours to accommodate military schedules across time zones.
