Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role in Greensboro, NC, for a Lead Knit Textile Designer. Responsibilities include overseeing the design and development of innovative knit textile solutions, leading a team of designers, staying ahead of industry trends, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet client expectations. Additional duties involve managing project timelines, selecting appropriate materials, and ensuring product quality aligns with the company's standards of excellence.
Qualifications
Expertise in Textile Design, with a specialization in knit fabric design.
Strong knowledge of material selection and fabric functionality.
Proficiency in relevant software tools for textile design, such as Adobe Creative Suite or equivalent design platforms.
Strong understanding of market trends and the ability to translate them into innovative fabric designs.
Experience leading and mentoring design teams, with excellent leadership and project management skills.
Superior attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions.
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Design, Fashion Design, or a related field.
Prior experience in the home furnishings industry or a similar field is considered an asset.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
