The Regional Sales Trainer is responsible for owning, standardizing, and reinforcing Culligan's 7-step sales process across their region. This role is dedicated to developing high-performing Bottle-Less Cooler (BLC) and Bottled Water (BW) sales reps through structured onboarding, certification, and in-field coaching. This is not a traditional management role; instead, this position is focused on training excellence, behavior replication, and accelerating rep performance across all markets. Salary plus uncapped commission and monthly & quarterly bonuses. The average total yearly compensation is between $110K-$130K. You'll receive paid time off (PTO) at a generous accrual rate. What you'll do: Core Focus Full ownership and execution of the Culligan 7-step sales process, ensuring consistency across all dealerships Design and lead a structured onboarding and certification program (24 weeks) for all new BLC Account Executives Equip Sales Managers with the tools, knowledge, and discipline to coach and manage to the sales process Reinforce training through ride-alongs, field coaching, and real-time feedback Drive consistency by replicating high-performing sales behaviors across the region Sales Training & Development Lead onboarding and certification of all new BLC and BW sales reps through a structured training program Train reps on prospecting, canvassing, and executing the Culligan sales process from first contact to close Utilize and enhance existing training platforms (including Nick Seifert's program) to ensure consistency and scalability Deliver ongoing skill development for both new and tenured reps to improve performance and close rates Act as the subject matter expert on BLC/BW sales execution across the region Field Coaching & Execution Travel throughout the Midwest region to conduct ride-alongs and in-market coaching Observe sales behavior in the field and provide direct, actionable feedback Reinforce adherence to the 7-step sales process and identify gaps in execution Partner with Sales Managers to ensure training translates into daily habits and results Accelerate ramp time by ensuring reps reach certified, productive status quickly Manager Enablement Train and support Sales Managers on how to coach, inspect, and reinforce the sales process Align with GMs and Area Managers to ensure consistent expectations and execution across markets Provide insight into team performance trends and recommend targeted development opportunities Support hiring efforts by identifying traits and behaviors that align with successful BLC reps What Success Looks Like Faster ramp time for new hires Higher certification rates and sales productivity Improved consistency in how Culligan sells across all markets Stronger Sales Manager capability in coaching and development Increased retention of BLC and BW sales reps Qualifications Minimum of five years of experience in business-to-business outside sales or equivalent combination of education and experience Proven success in sales training, coaching, or development roles Strong understanding of structured sales processes and the ability to teach and reinforce them High energy, positive attitude, and the ability to engage and motivate others Disciplined, process-driven mindset with a commitment to consistency and execution Willingness to do whatever it takes to develop reps into high-performing producers Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Ability to influence and build credibility with Sales Reps, Managers, and leadership Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage travel and priorities effectively Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel extensively and conduct frequent in-field coaching (including extended drive time) Must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screen, and maintain a clean driving record
