Customer Service Representative – Mortgage Service Center (Contract, Honolulu, HI)
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative for a short-term opportunity supporting a Mortgage Service Center. This role is ideal for candidates interested in gaining hands‑on exposure and learning more about mortgage servicing and operations. The position focuses on handling inbound customer calls, processing account updates, and completing administrative tasks in a fast‑paced, customer‑focused environment.
Responsibilities
Respond to general customer inquiries related to mortgage accounts
Update internal systems for autopay enrollments, name changes, and address changes
Process and track returned mail accurately
Ensure customer information is documented correctly and handled in a timely manner
Follow established procedures, compliance standards, and quality guidelines
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required
Interest in learning about mortgage servicing and financial operations
Prior customer service or call center experience preferred
Strong verbal communication skills and phone professionalism
Detail‑oriented with accurate data entry skills
Basic computer skills and ability to navigate internal systems
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
