ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR OF BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT (REMOTE)

Compass Group Corporate Services is seeking an Associate Director of Business Development (ADBD) who shares our values, desires to work with a team of high‑performing sales professionals, and is committed to contributing to the success of our region. The ADBD reports to the Vice President of Sales and supports Regional Sales Directors in generating leads and developing prospects, assisting with complex proposals/bids and contracts, and managing special projects to win new business. This role offers a path to a Regional Sales Director position and includes commission eligibility. Responsibilities Collaborate with Regional Sales Directors to secure new business. Identify new business opportunities and target verticals and service lines. Conduct extensive prospect research using online research tools. Convert viable targets into active sales processes following the Compass Sales process. Maintain accurate, timely records in the CRM system. Participate in and support proposal development/bid response processes including strategy sessions, site tours, creative development, financial modeling, and presentation rehearsals. Support the contract process. Travel may be required, fluctuating between 20% and 50% of the time. Qualifications High energy, positive attitude, and excellent communication and presentation skills. Ability to build and nurture relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Flexible and able to shift priorities smoothly. Strong time‑management skills with the capacity to multitask. Resourceful and proactive in taking initiative. Excellent listening skills and a commitment to continuous learning. Capability to work independently and collaboratively. Strong computer skills, proficiency with online research tools, and experience managing CRM database systems. A desire to win and to be part of a winning team. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a B2B sales environment (support or direct selling).
