
Environmental Client Account Manager

We are seeking a dynamic Environmental Client Account Manager to join our Texas/Oklahoma Environmental team. Role Overview
In this role, you will lead efforts to identify, position for, propose, and win strategic environmental opportunities with both existing and new clients—driving continued diversification and growth. You will cultivate strong client relationships and support the successful delivery of complex, multi‑disciplinary projects across the Power and Energy and Commercial/Industrial markets.
Key Responsibilities
Build and strengthen relationships with key clients, teaming partners, and market stakeholders.
Identify, lead, and capture major pursuits, including scoping activities and proposal presentations.
Maintain regular client interaction to ensure satisfaction, proactively addressing any service challenges in coordination with project teams.
Leverage existing and new client relationships to identify and pursue new environmental business opportunities.
Apply technical expertise to engage prospective clients, understand project challenges, and discuss innovative solutions.
Actively participate in industry organizations, serving on committees and in leadership roles where appropriate.
Mentor staff, support team growth, and help expand the work portfolio.
Promote collaboration, client focus, innovation, and a positive team culture.
Provide input on business development priorities, budgets, and strategic expenditures.
Support achievement of area financial goals through effective contract negotiation and oversight of cost of sales, margins, backlog, and related metrics.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience:
5+ years of high‑level client management experience
15+ years total professional and project management experience within a consulting engineering or related environment
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, geology, natural sciences, or related field
Demonstrated success in business development and project management within consulting services.
Strong business acumen in project management, financial performance, and risk management.
Working knowledge of sales pipeline management and backlog growth (hard and soft).
