Marketing Specialist

Location: Open to Harris Beach Murtha offices for a hybrid opportunity: Albany, Rochester, and Syracuse, NY; Boston, MA; Hartford and New Haven, CT Position Overview: Harris Beach Murtha’s Business Development team seeks a Marketing Specialist to implement business development and marketing plans. The role requires collaboration across the firm to maintain consistent brand representation, effective communication, and strategic outreach. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related field (required) 3+ years of marketing or business development experience in a professional services organization (preferred) Legal industry experience (preferred) Experience maintaining social media accounts, executing targeted campaigns, and integrating content across platforms (preferred) Proficiency in Microsoft Office, social media tools, HubSpot or similar CRM software Creative writing and editing skills Ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and provide solutions in a fast‑paced setting Comfort with a hybrid office schedule and occasional travel to firm offices Alignment with the firm’s core values: collaboration, inclusion, ingenuity, respect, integrity, and commitment Responsibilities Collaborate with team members using firm branding guidelines to create advertisements, email blasts, social media graphics, and other creative assets. Manage and monitor all firm social media accounts, including developing and maintaining an editorial calendar and creating content. Identify opportunities to expand the firm’s social and digital platforms, aligning with strategic priorities. Monitor, analyze, and report on social media engagement and other key metrics. Assist with ongoing maintenance of the firm website and update contact lists to support data integrity initiatives. Support public relations strategy implementation. Plan and execute firm marketing events, including pre- and post‑event promotion and on‑site attendance. Develop and update marketing collateral.
