Associate Account Executive

Summary The role supports meetings with agencies by presenting Econolite’s capabilities and products to key stakeholders. The individual assists in managing accounts within the region and contributes to growth of market presence. The role serves as a key point-of-contact from the field for project pursuits, working closely with internal teams to coordinate activities. Responsibilities include assisting in the formation of project teams, reviewing and analyzing RFPs and RFIs, contributing to proposal development, and estimating project scope. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of experience in engineering and/or account management, leveraging both relationship building within agencies and engineering expertise to sell to technical departments. DUTIES Serve as the point‑of‑contact for Econolite and key clients. Review RFPs, RFIs and other requests for information. Generate proposals and presentations for training purposes. Generate proposals and presentations for sales opportunities. Serve as a project management resource. Analyze plans and schematics to make recommendations and proposals. Conduct systems product presentations for business development or training purposes. Maintain close liaison and cooperative relationship with all Econolite’s sales and agent personnel and facilitate all necessary technical assistance. Collaborate with Econolite sales personnel and distributors in evaluating project specifications and in applications engineering. Review technical specifications and proposals to ensure system compliance prior to bids. Serve as a customer‑facing ambassador of The Econolite Group, Inc. by representing the organization in a positive, professional manner to support the Brand Promise. Perform other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Civil Engineering preferred or equivalent experience in Engineering or Account Management. 2+ years experience in Engineering/Account Management. Self‑starter with excellent integrity and work ethics, able to work remotely with minimal supervision. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team environment or independently. Extensive knowledge and experience in the traffic industry preferred. Knowledge and/or experience in Connected Vehicle technologies desirable. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. REFERRED STATES Oregon California Washington Nevada Utah PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to stand, walk, squat, and bend at the waist for extended periods of time. Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds. PRE‑EMPLOYMENT All candidates who accept employment will be subject to a background investigation and drug screening. BUSINESS TRAVEL & HOURS Frequent business travel is required, averaging up to 50% or more per month, including overnight stays. The role requires a high degree of availability and responsiveness while traveling to support customers, teams, and business operations. This position is fully remote; however, candidates must reside in or be able to work Eastern Time Zone (ET) business hours.
