Role Description Givebutter is the #1 ranked non‑profit software, and we are just getting started! At Givebutter, we’re building the future of nonprofit fundraising and donor engagement, and we’re looking for an Account Executive who thrives in a fast‑paced, mission‑driven environment. This person will be an integral team member helping thousands of nonprofits each year navigate how to fundraise and manage more with Givebutter. This is a high‑impact role for someone who loves consultative selling, cares deeply about customer outcomes, and wants to win while doing meaningful work. Givebutter has a healthy inbound pipeline of leads and is scaling up an outbound motion. We are growing the team to help nonprofits sign on to Givebutter and get connected with the right services to decrease their time to value. We Want To Hear From People Who… Surpassed quota attainment with >3 years selling in the SaaS space Can show proven ability to exceed Sales metrics (evidence of past achievements such as President’s Club, Winner’s Circle, etc.) Assess Client needs, qualify efficiently, and provide impactful solutions Are clear self‑starters and naturally curious — individually driven and self‑motivated Are resilient, persistent, and comfortable in ambiguity, but are not pushy and can show empathy Have a desire to problem solve, not just sell — consultative sellers Possess a deep understanding of software terms — e.g. CRM, front‑end / back‑end, etc. Have a strong EQ with IQ Can collaborate well with others — SDRs, Customer Success, Product, Marketing Responsibilities Accountable for 100% of the monthly/annual quota set as the baseline for Account Executives. Own the full Sales cycle from discovery to close for inbound and outbound opportunities to secure net new business. Run high‑quality discovery calls to identify customer goals, pain points, and decision criteria (incl. C‑suite, board members, founders, and development staff). Deliver compelling product demos tailored to the prospect’s fundraising model and use case. Build trust with nonprofit leaders by acting as a consultative advisor. Manage and maintain a healthy pipeline, ensuring consistent activity, deal progression, and data accuracy. Close Sales opportunities at a high rate (both revenue and account‑wise) with clear expectations to ensure a smooth start on our platform. Outbound lead generation as prescribed situationally. Develop a deep understanding of our ideal customer profile and how they relate to our products and services. Negotiate pricing and contract terms while protecting Givebutter’s business interests. Partner closely with SDRs to optimize lead handoff, deal quality, and inbound/outbound strategies. Collaborate with Customer Success to ensure a smooth handoff and long‑term customer retention. Provide feedback to Product and Marketing on market trends, customer objections, and competitive intel. Requirements 3+ years of closing experience in SaaS, Fintech, or a subscription‑based sales role (fully remote sales experience is a plus but not required). Demonstrated success hitting quota consistently (and ideally evidence of exceeding it) – Top 10% of sellers. Experienced in both inbound and outbound lead management and lead generation. Strong discovery skills and a consultative Sales approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills via phone, email, and Zoom (follow‑ups, proposals, recap notes). Comfort selling to executive‑level stakeholders (EDs, CEOs, board members, founders). Ability to manage multiple deals at once with urgency and attention to detail. Ability to work effectively with other team members, including the Marketing, Customer Success, Product, RevOps, and Sales team. Experience using CRM and Sales tools (HubSpot, Zoom, Notion, Gong preferred), and disciplined pipeline hygiene. A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and bias toward action. Comfort working in a fast‑paced environment with evolving priorities. Ability to travel up to 5% of your time (conditions permitting) for events, conferences, and in‑person Sales meetings.
