SportPet Designs is seeking an Account Manager to independently manage two pet specialty accounts, including both domestic and international responsibilities. This is a remote, full‑time position offering a salary range of $100,000–$110,000. The ideal candidate brings a strong sales foundation paired with an eye for trend — our pet specialty accounts include pet apparel and lifestyle products where understanding consumer and retail trends is a genuine part of the job. This role is multifaceted and rewards someone who is equally comfortable analyzing business performance and collaborating with design and merchandising teams on product assortment. Primary Responsibilities Independently manage two pet specialty accounts (domestic & international) by: Creating customer assortments in collaboration with the merchandising and design teams, incorporating trend insights, best sellers, and customer needs — including pet apparel and lifestyle categories where trend awareness is key Communicating customer assortment strategies to internal teams to ensure timely and accurate execution Collaborating with internal teams including production, sales operations, packaging, design, product development and merchandising to achieve customer goals Meeting with customers to present product lines, trends, competitive information, and aid in assortment selection Tracking and managing customer needs and priorities Meeting or exceeding financial targets (sales & margin) Sample review, organization & preparation Creating and maintaining online based design catalog Managing inventory levels to ensure proper in‑stock positions and communicating with customer inventory teams Support the Director of Sales on business development efforts as needed Serve as a champion of the SportPet brand — growing brand share within accounts, identifying new opportunities, and cultivating lasting customer relationships Qualifications 3+ years sales or retail experience Strong knowledge of MS Office suite (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced corporate environment Flexibility with regards to job responsibilities Effective interpersonal and organizational skills; especially working directly with senior level executives Strong attention to detail Proficiency in assortment creation, merchandising & project management Experience with forecasting/demand planning and inventory management Impeccable communication skills across all channels Excellent discretion, judgment, tact and diplomacy Genuine passion for pets — we make products for pet lovers, and it shows in everything we do Job Type: Full‑time, Remote.
