POSITION SUMMARY: This successful candidate will be expected to work with our sales team to provide exceptional service for our clients by creating designs and specifications associated with contract furniture applications. Some of the tasks associated with this position include generating and/or coordinating conceptual drawings, space planning and schematic furniture plans, 3D renderings, product specifications, installation drawings, and finish selections; using industry standard software to perform all work.
QUALIFICATIONS: •Bachelor's degree in interior design or interior architecture, preferably from a CIDA-accredited program At least 2-3 years of experience in the design industry, office furniture dealership experience strongly preferred Experience using CET, Sketchup, AutoCAD Proficient in Microsoft Office basics
SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION: •Strong communication and presentation skills •Sense of urgency and ability to prioritize effectively •Exceptional attention to detail •Able to work well in team formats •Superb work ethic – dependable, disciplined, industrious •Excellent time management skills •Aptitude for problem solving •Physical ability to field verify project sites (i.e. field measure, product inventory, etc.) – involves standing, walking, bending
