
Director of Engineering (Columbus)

Provide engineering leadership to achieving our “Superior 100” growth strategy.
2. List the specific duties the job requires to accomplish the above
Create and execute engineering strategy to support Superior growth goals. Communicate strategy progress to key stakeholders (executive team & board of directors). Develop and build strong relationships with key customers and suppliers. Hire and develop engineers into future leaders of Superior. Develop and maintain engineering standards for tooling and equipment. Ensure quotes are accurate, on-time, profitable, and competitive. Ensure all launches are on-time, on-budget, and to customer specification. Ensure compliance to safety/environmental standards and ISO 9001.
3. List the nature and extent of experience the job requires:
10 years of engineering, program management, and estimating experience. 5 years of manufacturing leadership experience. Stamping and assembly experience highly preferred.

BS in Engineering
5. List other skills, competencies required:
Strong team member, team builder, and team leader. Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills. Technically competent – problem solver that is detail oriented.
