Pricing Analyst
The Pricing Analyst is responsible for supporting the pricing strategy by delivering financial analysis, modeling profitability impacts, and managing pricing-related tools and initiatives across the organization. As part of the FP&A team, this role partners closely with sales leadership and operational stakeholders to develop data-driven pricing recommendations, support competitive proposals and annual rate reviews, and ensure pricing structures align with market trends and company profitability objectives. The position also contributes to performance reporting, process improvements, and strategic projects such as product expansion and M&A integration. Essential Job Functions Perform predictive gross margin analyses for local, enterprise, international, and complex litigation RFPs or other competitive bid projects. Model the impacts of changes to prices and resource costs on revenue streams and profitability. Use historical data to model predictions for future sales growth and firm performance broadly. Research market data and maintain a library of current market prices and resource pay. Identify areas for automation and other efficiency gains for pricing processes. Oversee the development and administration of pricing tools. Assist with other key projects as specified by the Director of Sales Data and Analytics. Work with sales leadership to inform pricing decisions on new and existing offerings for product and market expansions. Assist with M&A pricing migration and integration projects. Track and report on key sales performance metrics. Maintain regional sales target files and facilitate target amendments. Develop pricing solutions in conjunction with market trends and the firm's profitability goals. Perform other duties as requested by department leadership. Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required, relevant college course work preferred. Proficient use of PC and knowledge of MS Office, including expert knowledge of Excel. Ability to learn new software and database applications quickly. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills and be able to prioritize and resolve problems in a timely manner. Must be able to gather and analyze information skillfully. Ability to provide excellent customer service and adapt to change effectively. Must be able to work effectively in a team environment under tight deadlines, and to work under pressure, maintaining composure in stressful situations. Manage time and multiple projects effectively. Ability to maintain confidentiality.
