Graphic Designer job at R&M Consultants, Inc.. Anchorage, AK. Graphic Designer In A Nutshell R&M is looking for a team-oriented Graphic Designer to support expansion of our graphic design team. As a member of the R&M team, the Graphic Designer will provide support in print and digital graphic communications to the firm’s marketing and professional staff in implementing initiatives that support R&M’s vision, mission and core values, and our well-established branding initiatives. This is an on-site position, based in R&M’s Anchorage office. The Graphic Designer will be expected to actively participate and represent R&M in professional organizations such as the Society for Marketing Professional Services and/or the American Institute of Graphic Arts and community activities. The Graphic Designer will report to R&M’s Senior Graphic Designer. On Any Given Day On a typical day, the Graphic Designer will: Collaborate with marketing and/or professional staff to create and execute design concepts in support of client projects and internal marketing efforts (project logos, infographics, maps, reports, etc). Design and layout proposal and report documents and supporting graphics. Design presentations, advertising and special event items (event invitations, holiday cards, trade show graphics, branded merchandise, etc.). Design social media collateral for motion graphics or static posts using R&M branding guidelines. Stay updated on industry trends and best practices. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Graphic Communications, Mass Communications or a related field, and a minimum of four years of professional experience. Experience in the A/E/C industry is a plus. Strong, diverse portfolio showcasing creative style, technical skill, and understanding of design principles. High-level expertise in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop with experience delivering both digital and professionally printed design solutions. Experience creating social media content using Adobe Express (or similar software). Professional skills in Microsoft (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) programs. Familiarity with WordPress and/or other web design and content management systems. Experience creating motion graphics, special effects and video compositing with Adobe After Effects is a plus. Experience with accessible design principles, techniques and software is a plus. The successful applicant will be able to work in supervised or unsupervised settings, either alone or with group interaction, and possess strong graphic, written and verbal communication skills and good interpersonal abilities.
