Social Media Marketing Intern

The South Asian Business Council of Virginia (SABCVA) is committed to driving the economic and professional growth of South Asian entrepreneurs, startups, and professionals throughout Virginia. The organization hosts networking events, workshops, mentorship programs, and leadership sessions to support its community. SABCVA recently introduced internships in Mobile Development and AI Data Science to further assist students and young professionals. With a mission to empower individuals and foster mutual growth, SABCVA serves as a bridge between businesses, policymakers, and the community to create impactful opportunities. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Social Media Marketing Intern, located in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. The intern will be responsible for creating and managing social media content, implementing digital marketing strategies, assisting with marketing campaigns, and monitoring engagement across various platforms. They will also participate in team meetings, contribute to the development of marketing plans, and support brand initiatives to enhance the Council's presence in the community. Qualifications Experience in Social Media Marketing and Social Media Content Creation Skills in Digital Marketing and Marketing strategies Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal Creative mindset with attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Proficiency in using social media platforms and tools Experience with graphic design or video editing tools is a plus Currently pursuing or holding a degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field #J-18808-Ljbffr
