Overview We are seeking an experienced
Piping Designer III
to support ongoing projects within a refinery environment. This role will focus on developing and revising piping design documentation, supporting Management of Change (MOC) processes, and collaborating across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality construction packages.
Key Responsibilities Create and revise piping drawings throughout design and MOC processes Develop complete piping design packages for construction execution Provide technical design support across all project phases Perform field walkdowns to verify existing conditions and ensure design accuracy Track, monitor, and report progress for current and upcoming piping projects Collaborate with engineering, operations, and construction teams
Required Qualifications Proven experience in a
Piping Designer
role Strong knowledge of piping standards, codes, and industry practices Experience with
3D modeling
and
point cloud workflows Proficiency with
AutoCAD
and
CADWorx Plant
(or equivalent) Ability to work in both office and refinery environments Ability to perform field walkdowns safely Strong communication and teamwork skills Associate’s Degree (AAS) or equivalent hands-on/design experience
Preferred Qualifications Experience in refining, petrochemical, or similar industrial environments Familiarity with: Leica CloudWorx Navisworks AutoCAD Plant 3D (P3D) Falcon SAP Leica tools
