The Geoffrey Express Train Conductor is the face of fun and safety for our family-friendly train ride at American Dream. This role combines responsibility, customer engagement, and a playful attitude to create a memorable experience for guests of all ages. Primary Responsibilities Guest Interaction: Greet and interact with guests in a cheerful and professional manner both during their check in process, assisting them onto the train, and while driving with an interactive script recited. Provide a warm, welcoming environment with a family-friendly sense of humor to enhance the guest experience. Train Operation: Safely operate the Geoffrey Express Train throughout its designated route, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable ride. Safety Management: Perform a daily safety checklist to inspect the train and its surroundings for any potential hazards. Follow all operational protocols to ensure guest and employee safety. Train Maintenance: Oversee the day-to-day upkeep of the train, including cleaning. Report any significant repairs or issues to management. Attention to Detail: Maintain focus while driving the train, adhering to all safety guidelines and ensuring the ride operates on schedule. Teamwork: Collaborate with the broader team to support the smooth operation of the Toys R Us experience. Desired Qualifications Must be over 18 years of age. Must hold a valid driver's license. Comfortable engaging with children and families, maintaining a friendly and playful demeanor. Previous experience in customer service, entertainment, or transportation-related roles is a plus Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail. Ability to follow instructions, safety protocols, and guidelines. Ability to work independently Physical Job Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and operate the train for extended periods. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining focus and a positive attitude.
