Description: Desoto Collision Center is looking to add motivated and dedicated members to our team. The Auto Body Technician repairs damaged bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications, using hand tools and power tools. De-trim and disassemble vehicles. Utilizing parts carts for parts. Perform pre-pulls for repair vs replaces decisions. Assists in identifying parts needed for repairs. Perform quality repairs without passing on defects. Utilize technical information sheets along with work order for all repairs. Follows DCC's quality control process. Keep work area clean and organized to maintain a safe environment. Comply with all DCC safety rules, guidelines and standards. Perform other duties as assigned by Manager to ensure efficient and effective repairs. Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time Location: Southaven Position Requirements: Valid Driver's License. Knowledge of manufacturers' repair processes. Demonstrates commitment to continued learning by ongoing participation in I-Car Pro level training and other industry required training. Reliable attendance required. Ability to read and understand written estimates and work orders. This is a physically demanding position. Must have the ability to stand for long periods of time during the repair of a vehicle. Must be able to walk, sit, bend, push/pull, kneel, crouch, reach or crawl frequently. Must be able to use hands efficiently in handling vehicle parts. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds. Will be exposed to noise, vibration, dust, fumes, paint and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. Salary This position is currently accepting applications.
