Long-Term 1 year + Contract Assignment in Muscatine, IA
Job Description: Perform civil and mechanical system design and decision-making Apply sound engineering and design principles to projects Ensure systems and equipment comply with regulatory standards Assist with project reviews and system design evaluations Review field installations to ensure alignment with design plans Verify and complete as-built drawings Develop construction drawings and documentation Collaborate with Project Engineers, Planners, and Field Coordinators Prepare equipment and material take-offs and specifications Conduct site surveys and field verification to support design Develop site plans, equipment layouts, piping plans, and isometrics Update as-built drawings
Skills Requested: Strong communication and decision-making skills Ability to work independently and take initiative Basic knowledge of civil and mechanical engineering principles Ability to work effectively in a team environment Proficiency in AutoCAD Knowledge of surveying and field verification (e.g., Leica point cloud) a + Understanding of mechanical and civil design practices and regulations Familiarity with design codes and standards (OSHA, ADA, ASME, etc.) Experience with process-related equipment such as pumps, piping, and heat exchangers
Education/Training/Certifications Associate degree in Drafting/Design Technology or equivalent
