This role is responsible for cultivating relationships with key specifiers, including lighting designers, architects, designers, and engineers.

How success is defined

Build and maintain strong relationships with specifiers, including lighting designers, architects, and engineers to expand brand presence and achieve regional sales goals.

Identify and secure new business opportunities within the specification and design community.

Work closely with Specification Sales Representatives, serving as a trusted consultant with product knowledge, design insight, and sales support.

Manage the lifecycle of regional sales programs and specification projects.

Partner with reps to execute regional marketing initiatives and promotional events.

Contribute to regional trade shows, and execute weekly training sessions and client presentations.

Serve as a resource to assist in securing information requested from sales teams and communication with local sales teams.

Generate, on a regular basis, effective ideas for trade shows, promotional items and incentives.

Work effectively with others in a team environment to accomplish organizational goals and to identify and resolve problems.

Demonstrate commitment, dependability, punctuality, and adherence to agreed-upon schedule while collaborating in the workplace.

What you will bring

5 - 8 years’ previous experience in sales, Inside sales or related field.

Bachelor degree (BS/BA)

Strong aptitude for and proficiency navigating ERP and Sales Systems.

Experience in the lighting industry, specifically the commercial marketplace is a plus. Other experience in interior design, home building products, and/or luxury home furnishings is a plus.

Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a strong attention to detail

Ability to achieve results both independently and through others by fostering a spirit of teamwork and cooperation

Demonstrate exceptional communication across all contact channels, including email, chat and phone

Compensation Range: $100,000 - $111,000
