Product Sales Specialist – Point of Care ULS (Heartland Territory)

The Product Sales Specialist – Point of Care Ultrasound (POC) is responsible for creating and winning sales opportunities for POC Ultrasound products, solutions, and services by calling on new and assigned customers. This role requires expertise in assigned products and the ability to differentiate GE HealthCare’s offerings, convey compelling value propositions, and successfully close sales. The specialist will partner with existing accounts, including large, complex, strategic, or tactically important accounts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Generate proposals, prepare sales quotations and presentations, plan customer meetings, and demonstrate equipment capabilities for POC products in assigned territory.

Maintain satisfactory after-sale relationships with customers. Penetrate competitive accounts and communicate current market intelligence, field concerns, Issues, and requirements back to the business.

Provide leadership in market analysis and development/execution of strategies and action plans to drive POC Ultrasound sales.

Prospect for new customers and business, while growing and maintaining the existing customer portfolio.

Achieve annual and quarterly sales and revenue targets.

Develop long-term customer relationships and identify opportunities that immediately satisfy customer needs.

Requirements

Must be willing to travel extensively throughout assigned region to maintain a high level of visibility at customer sites

Excellent communication skills (written and oral)

Excellent planning and organizational skills

Must be able to make presentations, develop proposals and price quotations for a variety of healthcare professionals

Must have financial selling skills and the ability to develop and implement a sales strategy

Must be able to act as the primary contact for customers during contract negotiations, marketing information requests, demand analysis, clinical specifications

Must be able to successfully balance conflicting priorities, influence and manage tender cross functional teams and processes

Must attend all training provided by the company

Must maintain all Customer Relationship Management data systems continuously with accurate rolling five month forecast and rolling three year or greater funnel information for all new and existing customer in assigned region

Must be capable of transporting, setting up, and demonstrating ultrasound equipment for sales presentations, training sessions, and customer support.

Must have current and valid driver’s license, as this role involves regular travel to customer sites, healthcare facilities, and industry events.

Qualifications/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferably in Business Management, Sales Marketing, and/or Leadership.

Ultrasound sales experience preferred

Capital equipment sales experience preferred
