Overview
The Design Thinker addresses complex business challenges across all areas of the organization. This individual regularly uncovers new areas of opportunities for the organization to succeed through thoughtful design, rapid prototyping, and quick real-world testing. Responsibilities
Plan Design Thinking workshops/activities Facilitate Design Thinking workshops/activities Synthesize Design Thinking workshops and create artifacts Conduct user research Provide feedback to Design Thinking advocates and junior Design Thinkers Required/Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology and 5 years relevant work experience In lieu of Bachelor\'s degree(s) listed above, High School/GED and 6 years relevant work experience Additional Preferred Qualifications
Experience in planning and designing a solution for cross-functional teams Experience in applying and teaching human-centered design concepts Experience conducting qualitative research and synthesizing to provide insights, identify opportunities, and generate concepts Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with a portfolio of synthesized solutions Previous facilitation experience and proven ability to bring together cross-functional teams to create a solution Working Conditions
Hybrid Mobility Classification - Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable daily commute to a Duke Energy facility. Travel Requirements
