The Tax Transformation Office serves Deloitte Tax, focused on Service Delivery Transformation inclusive of people, process, and technology to enable our Tax Professionals to deliver efficient, high‑value, quality tax services to our clients. Tax Transformation drives improvements across the full range of Tax market offerings focused on both tax compliance and advisory services, and offers an opportunity to be part of an innovative team within Deloitte Tax that delivers value aligned with the Deloitte brand.

Responsibilities As a Senior on the Transformation team, you will collaborate with Tax subject matter specialists, technologists, and key stakeholders. Tax transformation projects span Business Threads, inclusive of tax compliance and advisory client service delivery for Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flowthroughs, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, and Indirect Tax services, as well as cross‑thread activities such as initiating, managing and closing engagements. The role requires working knowledge of professional services and the end‑to‑end engagement life cycle.
Support project planning (workplans, milestones) and deliver assigned scope on time against defined outcomes
Partner with Tax practitioners to identify service delivery pain points, size opportunities, and drive process improvements
Perform process analysis/modeling using agile and design thinking; translate business needs into clear functional requirements
Collaborate across the technology delivery lifecycle, including coordination with product/IT and stakeholders
Execute and facilitate testing (system/UAT) and contribute to business readiness assessments
Develop and deliver learning materials; support deployment planning, pilots, and go‑live execution
Provide post‑go‑live hypercare, support adoption with change management, gather feedback and drive action plans, and assist with legacy system decommissioning
The team The Tax Transformation Office focuses on enhancing Deloitte Tax LLP’s ability to deliver value‑added and efficient Tax services to our clients. It is composed of professionals with varying backgrounds ranging from Tax Professionals, Human Capital and Technology Consultants, and other IT professionals including QA and Support. The team consults and executes on a wide range of projects with a strong focus on process design, deployment, and adoption, including stakeholder analysis, communications, learning and change management.
Qualifications Required
Ability to perform job responsibilities within a hybrid work model that requires US Tax professionals to co‑locate 2‑3 days per week
Bachelor’s degree in business, accounting, or information technology related field
3+ years of project delivery and client service experience in one or more of the following tax compliance related areas: Corporate, Investment Management, Operating Flowthroughs, Individuals, Estates & Trusts, or Indirect
Demonstrated ability to prioritize work and deliver with quality and meeting established deadlines
Ability to travel 20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Licensed CPA in state of practice/primary office if eligible to sit for the CPA

Deployment, adoption, and change leadership, including training delivery and post‑production client support
Experience supporting tax technology strategy for compliance/provision platforms to drive efficiency and standardization
Agile and/or PMP certification preferred; strong PowerPoint/Excel with working knowledge of data management and metrics
The wage range for this role takes into account a wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $84,980 to $193,440.
You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, wherein an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
