Chem-Aqua Sales Training Manager
We are seeking a Sales Training Manager to work closely with and develop multiple trainers in our Midwest division. This role requires experience in sales, training, and a strong understanding of educational methods applied to field sales teams.
Responsibilities
Assist in implementing, monitoring and evaluating training programs across the assigned division.
Liaison between training personnel and new hires to ensure follow‑up of programs and initiatives on a daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
Monitor and report on new hire progress, ensuring trainers follow the prescribed training process.
Serve as a rotating facilitator for sales training classes (virtual sessions).
Travel up to 60% of the time, working in the field with training personnel and representatives.
Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, metrics and collaboration with managers.
Maintain open communication with managers across the division.
Stay current on training trends, developments, and best practices.
Review trainee progress through reporting, questionnaires, and discussions.
Contribute to program revisions to adapt to business changes.
Assist managers and field trainers in solving specific training problems, on a one‑to‑one basis or in groups.
Conduct field training for new associates.
Qualifications
2+ years of water treatment experience.
Proven record of 5 years or more exceeding field sales goals.
Training experience preferred.
Salesforce experience required.
Ability to learn, adapt and improve.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong presentation skills, both one‑to‑one and one‑to‑group.
Ability to plan, multi‑task and manage time effectively.
Strong report writing and record keeping ability.
