We're searching for an Art Director who has a fresh viewpoint and an interest in transforming concepts into modern visual solutions. You'll design and complete innovative visual materials for integrated, cross-channel initiatives including web and print advertising. You'll collaborate with Creative Directors, Copywriters, Designers, Production Specialists and other key members of our creative team to produce industry-leading work.

Responsibilities:

Create and communicate concepts
Design comps, storyboards, initial graphic concepts and final deliverables
Foster a collaborative environment
Communicate and articulate concept rationales
Brainstorm and develop campaigns
Work with the client on multiple projects at once
Assist the Creative Director in improving the technical and creative performance of the Creative group
Partner with copywriters to ensure that the copy and voice support the concepts

Qualifications:

Four year degree
1-4 years of Art Direction with a book of samples showcasing your range of craft
Creative agency experience, preferably within a pharmaceutical creative ecosystem
Expert use of design systems, with Figma preferred/a plus, and experience implementing AI for comping
Robust design portfolio with combination of print and web
Mastery of all design tools, platforms and versions of applicable software programs
Experience with strategic brainstorming, campaign development, creative brief development and creative execution
In-depth understanding of HTML/dHTML and the capabilities of web browsers
A great personality and eagerness to add to a fun and inspirational creative culture!
Candidate must be open to travel as needed

Overview

As an Art Director, you will lead the visual development of creative campaigns, defining look and feel, creating lockups, developing storyboards, and shaping visual narratives across media. Working closely with a copywriter, youll craft cohesive, persuasive campaigns that align with brand strategy and effectively communicate the intended message to the target audience.

Responsibilities

Collaborate closely with copywriters to develop compelling, on?brand creative concepts.
Execute visual design across print, digital, social, and broadcast media.
Work under the direction of a creative lead across a variety of projects, including:
- Digital, social, and owned content
- Support of local industry events and sponsorships
- Local editorial content
- Employee events
- Client internal communications
- Web production
- Legally mandated materials
Present creative ideas and campaign concepts to internal teams and clients.
Ensure all visual elements align with brand guidelines, strategy, and objectives.
Support finalization of visuals for each execution, ensuring consistency and polish.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
Stay current on design trends, advertising techniques, and industry best practices.

Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Advertising, Visual Communications, or a related field.
35 years of experience in art direction or design within an agency or creative environment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and high?quality design across media.
Proficiency in creative tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Experience collaborating with cross?functional teams including copywriters, designers, strategists, and clients.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present ideas clearly.
Solid understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles.
Exceptional attention to detail and a passion for craft.
Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Compensation Range: $73,815$110,775 per year. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting.
