Job Title: Oracle ERP DBA Location: Richmond, VA, USA, 23219 Work Model: Hybrid (on-site 3 days a week) Employment Type: Temporary Estimated Duration: 7 weeks Hourly Rate: $70.00 - $80.00 Responsibilities
Oracle Database & System Administrator to support the DMAS accounting system, Oracle EBS (GL, AP, AR) and the 25 Oracle APEX applications and the underlying Oracle Databases. This includes quarterly security patching, system and database upgrades, problem resolution and deployments. This role requires knowledge of Oracle EBS and Oracle database features. Experience with applications developed using Oracle APEX versions 21 and 24 and workflow features. This position may require some night and weekend work due to patching. Required Skills
Oracle Application database administration version 19 (5 Years) Experience with Oracle APEX versions 21 and 24 with workflow (5 Years) Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite R12 running in Linux environment (5 Years) Oracle database upgrade experience (5 Years) Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) System Administration (5 Years) Experience with Windows and Linux OS (5 Years) Experience with Oracle database maintenance, patching/upgrades, creating Oracle service requests, resolving issues promptly (5 Years) Experience with the Oracle database job scheduler (5 Years) Strong understanding of RDBMS principles, Oracle database-related best practices (5 Years) Demonstrated the ability to work independently, effectively communicate with team members, and provide accurate and realistic effort estimates (5 Years) Strong verbal and written communication skills (5 Years) Ability to create clear and usable technical and non-technical documentation (5 Years) Experience with writing scripts to perform routine data loads (5 Years) Experience with SQL, PL/SQL (5 Years) A good understanding of the software development life cycle and experience with waterfall and/or agile SDLC methodologies (5 Years) Desired Skills
Experience with deploying changes for APEX applications Some experience with designing Oracle solutions and software development Experience with migrating Oracle EBS, APEX Applications and databases from on-prem Private Cloud Appliance (PCA) servers to Cloud Experience with Unified Auditing is a plus Experience within a healthcare environment Interview Process
