Commercial Real Estate Appraisal Reviewer - Dallas
We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Commercial Real Estate Appraisal Reviewer to support the firm's quality assurance and reporting standards. This role focuses on reviewing appraisal reports prepared by reporting appraisers to ensure compliance with USPAP, client engagement requirements, and internal firm standards. The reviewer works closely with producing appraisers and leadership to strengthen analytical rigor, improve reporting standards, and support firmwide QA/QC initiatives. The role provides exposure to a wide range of property types including office, industrial, multifamily, retail, hospitality, and specialty assets. Key responsibilities include performing technical reviews of commercial appraisal reports, evaluating analyses, opinions, and conclusions for logical consistency, ensuring compliance with USPAP requirements, reviewing market analysis, providing clear, constructive review comments, tracking recurring review comments, supporting firmwide initiatives, assisting in maintaining internal review scoring and feedback systems, consolidating feedback from external client reviews, and partnering with leadership and technology teams to improve review efficiency and reporting processes. What we are looking for includes excellent communication, written, and organizational skills, exceptional attention to detail and analytical accuracy, ability to evaluate complex valuation analyses, a certified general real estate appraiser license, MAI designation preferred, 5+ years of commercial real estate appraisal review experience, working knowledge of reviewing Argus files, and deep working knowledge of USPAP standards and institutional appraisal reporting requirements.
