Compensation & Benefits
$70,000-$80,000 base plus commission

Responsibilities
Develop ... sales plans using Airgas's guidelines to service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts. Qualify and pursue sales leads.
Cultivate customer relationships with deep knowledge of their business and maintain a consultative relationship.
Engage customers by aligning their business priorities with the Airgas value proposition.
Prepare sales proposals by quoting pricing, establishing credit terms, and estimating delivery dates based on Airgas production/delivery schedules.
Partner with internal resources to achieve growth objectives. Maintain clear communication with internal departments regarding customer successes, opportunities, new developments, and other information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in science, business, or a related field required. Up to 4 years of related experience may be accepted in lieu of a degree.
Minimum of 3 years of outside B2B sales experience, with proven solution‑selling and managing customers across a territory.
Knowledge of customer segmentation and ability to prioritize high‑value prospects.
Proven success using a consultative sales approach to mix sales solutions and products.
Success using deep knowledge of customer business, macro‑ and microeconomic trends, industry trends, and new business opportunities.
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of SAP.
Familiarity with industrial and specialty gases, industrial gas or welding supply sales.
